We started with breakfast. She prefers scrambled eggs and needs jelly on her toast. Here she is spreading jelly. When I asked if she wanted me to put it on for her, she said she could do it because she can "knock the bottle."

Thanks to Caty (or Patty as grandma likes to call her), I knew what NOT to make her for breakfast:

After breakfast i showed her a picture of my old dog. She wanted to show her dog, Queenie, the picture too.

If you're family and you send her pictures, you can be sure she gets them and loves them! She showed me some of them and likes to cover her fridge with everyone! Feel loved!

Then, a majority of the the time, she was real concerned with making sure the trash man had come so she could put her trash cans back in her garage right after. I think Ali and Willy usually did this, so she wanted to make sure she knew the cans were okay since they moved to Seattle. But she would continually do this and i kept finding her like this at the door peeping out:

NEXT, we watched TV. And i was pretty happy because my favorite show was on, America's Funniest Home Videos!
Here's how she started to watch TV before i told her to come sit with me:

Now, here we are together:

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST! Here is the process of Queenie the dog getting to sit on her lap and Tinkerbell the cat watching jealously:

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!

Awesome blog! The pictures are wonderful. It's so good to see what grandma is up to - and it's good to see pics of you too since I don't get those precious treasures very often! looks like grandma is enjoying your company. Keep it up! Love - Emily

Love it! Thanks so much.
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this for all of us. I have been missing my Dad so much of late, and this is a good reminder of the good times we had while he was with us. So sweet. I'm gonna call my mom right now too, thanks to you. Please keep it up, and know that I'm praying for you and Grandma, and the rest of your family (Em, Becky, Karen, Sharon, Ali, all the girlz)... Blessings, Heather PS: If your Aunt Sharon would ever call me back with her address, I would send her my Christmas Journal (hint hint =)... want one? Three years of old letters, never sent, now packaged into one BEEG journal.... xo
oops, how did that happen? I'm not, and never have been, anonymous!!!
wow, Heather! It makes me so happy to read your comment! I'm really glad you feel that way and I am so motivated to stay consistent with this, especially because of everyone's response. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
